This recipe for s’mores muffins was created by the incredible Veggiegirl! She shared it with us many years ago, and it is featured in my book, Go Dairy Free: The Guide and Cookbook.  After just one bite of this muffin, all I could say is “WOW”, and my family wholeheartedly agrees. When you pull apart the […]

Product Review: The Vitality Range

originally from: http://www.discount-supplements.co.uk/blog/product-review-vitality-range/

We’ve recently started stocking the Vitality brand here at Discount Supplements.

Following sampling the product range we were really impressed with how the brand has an active/healthy lifestyle look and feel, alongside that the ingredients are great, with the taste being very good across the range, the bars really stood out too, particularly as we’ve done a lot of bar reviews recently.

The brand range currently includes:

– Vitality Nutri Bars
– Vitality Nutri Oats
– Vitality Nutri Pancakes

With the rise of those who are living an active lifestyle, product ranges like this are really in demand and we’ve already had strong sales and feedback which is amazing!

Vitality Nutri Bars

We tried all of the the bars in the range, the flavours include; Cranberry & Almond, Cookies & Cream, Peanut Butter Crunch and Chocolate Mousse.

Vitality Cranberry & Almond BarVitality Cookies & Cream Bar

Vitality peanut butter crunch barVitality Chocolate Mousse Bar

They all do the flavour names justice and include real bits of the product in high quality protein sources, the main being what is widely considered to be the best protein source – whey protein.

Even though the flavours and ingredients differ slightly the protein amount & calories per bar remain the same, so you don’t need to worry about some flavours having less protein than others.

Bar Highlights

13g Protein
Great taste & soft texture
Gluten free
Fortified with vitamins & minerals
165 calories p/bar

One of our favourite aspects of the bars is the texture, all of the bars are nice and soft…not hard and really chewy like many bars. This comes down to using quality ingredients and not having too much protein added, whilst still having a solid 13g of protein per 50g bar (making the bars 26% protein).

Vitality Nutri Oats

Vitality nutri-oats

This oat based product is ideal for anyone who likes oats and wants something with a little more protein than regular oats, due to the added Soy Protein Isolate. Plus there’s the benefits of being fortified with extra vitamins, minerals and similar beneficial ingredients such as:

Vitamin K
Vitamin D
Prebiotic (Inulin)
Omega 3
Vitamin B6 & B12

When it comes to taste, hard to say which our favourite was to be honest, as they are all pretty good (you’ve got Mixed Berry, Honey Almond, Vanilla or natural/unflavoured).
Should you be wanting a ready to go oat based product we think this is a solid option, just add milk or water and you’re good to go!

These oats are also Gluten free.

Vitality Nutri Pancakes

Vitality nutri-pancake

Protein pancakes are tasty, fun ways to get in some extra protein whenever during the day, easy to mix up and prepare, these pancakes hit the spot.
Adding a few mixed berries and maple syrup to these pancakes makes it a well rounded snack or meal depending on how much pancake mix you decide to use up.
Again, added to the mix we have vitamins and mineral to further bolster the benefits and be highly suited to those living an active lifestyle.

Overall Verdict

All in all, we’re really glad to have come across this brand and now stock it. The Vitality range, good ingredients, on point branding and great taste, now we have a few of these products dotted in our offices too!

Make sure to check out the brand and any current deals we have on the products here >
